· Flooring: Floors are made of textured, non-slip steel or aluminum. They are often perforated or have a channel system to allow urine and manure to drain away from the animals' hooves.
· Internal Divider Gates: Allow animals to be separated into smaller groups to prevent injury from crowding and to separate different classes of livestock (e.g., bulls from cows).
